Licensing and inspecting food service operations and investigating nuisance complaints including interior and exterior housing and non-residential property inspections, are some of the primary functions of the Department.
The Department works to investigate nuisance complaints regarding insects or rodents, garbage, junk or in-operable vehicles on private property and sewage. To report a concern/complaint please call 513-785-7080.
Public Health nurses and the Department physician provide education to community groups on various health topics. Examples include heart health, diabetes control and prevention and immunization.
