Hamilton’s 5 fire stations are staffed 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. The Hamilton Fire Department currently possesses a Class 2 Fire Rating from the Insurance Service Office.

The primary mission of the Hamilton Fire Department is to provide services designed to protect the lives and property of the inhabitants of the City of Hamilton from the adverse effects of fires, medical emergencies, or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature.
